Physical Site Security Review
Physical security is a critical element of information security. To
prevent unauthorized access, limit damage, and maintain the integrity of
the organization's critical information assets, physical security
controls should be established. Critical or otherwise sensitive
facilities such as corporate office locations, data centers, and
collocated processing facilities contain either electronic or printed
assets. These assets should be housed in secure areas, well protected by
security perimeters, with appropriate security barriers and entry
controls. To identify potential risk to the organization , Halock will
perform a review of physical security controls at key locations.
Solution At-a-Glance:
- Evaluate physical access control and ensure principles of least
privilege are utilized
- Evaluate perimeter defenses against loss, theft, and natural
disaster
- Ensure physical security controls adequately protects information
assets
- Test the operational effectiveness of security policies,
procedures, and standards
